Fretboard Cleaning 101! Murphy's Oil Soap/Steel Wool Secret! #guitar

Here's how you can clean a rosewood, Pau Ferro, or ebony guitar or bass fretboard/fingerboard. (Do not try on an all maple neck.) Murphy's Oil Soap Wood Cleaner is cheap! (the 32 oz. bottle in the link below will last a LONG time).

Pair it with some "#0000" (four aught) super fine steel wool and you're set. Original version has a nice "citronella" scent (smells like oranges to me), natural ingredients, and you can use it to clean your wood floors when you're done! cheers
